Fire Door alarm with integral keyswitch - red
The Exitguard is designed to deter and stop the misuse of emergency exit doors. This emergency exit door alarm is the ideal solution for the security of your fire exit doors. An integral high-power 105dB sounder is activated when the door is opened to warn those in the vicinity that security of the door has been compromised.
The Exitguard fire door alarm can be supplied in battery, 12vdc and mains powered versions. The tamper feature includes sounder reduction via the keyswitch and is configured in such a way that the alarm can be set even if tamper security has been breached.

Exitguard Exit Alarm models:
EX104R is battery powered - This version should be chosen when a separate supply of power is not available, and the protected door is not opened very often. Depending on usage the 6 x AA batteries can last for up to 3 years. The Red Exitguard emergency exit door alarm will continue to work for at least two weeks after a battery fault indication.
EX105R is 12vdc powered - This fire door alarm should be used when the door you wish to secure and protect might be opened frequently. This version should also be chosen if you need the alarm to sound for a long time.
EX105RKM is 12vdc powered with Key Monitoring - This model provides a key position monitor switch output.
EX105RTKM is 12vdc powered with Key Trapped in off and Key Monitoring - This fire door alarm provides a key position monitor switch output and is also trapped in the off position.
All 12vdc versions require a power supply which is available separately. Please note, these versions cannot be powered using batteries.
EX106R is mains powered - This Exitguard alarm should be used when a protected door may be opened on a regular basis. It should also be used if you need the alarm to sound for a significant amount of time. Six AA batteries are supplied to provide power should a mains failure occur. The integral power supply will also supply as much as 200ma at 12vdc for ancillary equipment. This includes remote indicators and sounders.
All Exitguards are supplied with fixings, door contact, 1 metre of cable and a door warning sign. The Red Exitguard Fire Door Alarm can also be supplied in a language option of your choice.
